We provide consultancy and support for arts and culture events. We work with a roster of talented local artists and experienced event coordinators with links to communities across the region.

We support artists to upskill, network and understand their worth as a North East artist. Working between the employers and employees in the arts and culture sector, we set the standards of a principled organisation, championing fair pay and respectful collaboration. Our focus is on meeting the specific challenges the North East faces with bespoke events, organised and delivered by local people.

Durham ice rink
For a long time Durham Ice rink and the triumphant hockey team The Durham Wasps have been rarely mentioned in the history of Durham City. In collaboration with Carl Joyce Film-maker, Dead Dog Gallery and DSFC, we want to bring the history to light through an exhibition and a city centre mural, creating a short documentary in the process.

durham legal walls
CYAN_CIC in collaboration with Durham Spray Paints, will be supporting the transition of a number of local spaces into their use as legal walls. We will be collaborating with artists to do some initial repair and mural work, then helping with the curation of these spaces going forward.
